Meal Plans at Disneyland Paris explained

At Disneyland Paris, there are more than 50 restaurants. When you book a stay at a Disney hotel, you can choose to book a meal plan with it. The advantage is that some of your meals during your stay will already be paid in advance. There are different options, so there will definitely be a meal plan that suits your needs. It is necessary that you book your meal plan before your stay, it doesn’t have to be booked immediately when you book your hotel, but it must be booked before your arrival. It’s not possible anymore to make this choice upon arrival at the hotel.

You can choose to book breakfast, half board or full board meal options. If you choose for breakfast only, you get to enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet in your hotel. When staying at Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch, you can collect a breakfast basket per person every morning of your stay. If you have booked a stay in the Castle Club at Disneyland Hotel, the Empire State Club at Disney’s Hotel New York, the Compass Club at Disney’s Newport Bay Club, the Golden Forest Club at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge Hotel or at the partner hotel Algonquin’s Explorers Hotel, breakfast is included in the price of your stay, so there’s no need to book breakfast on top of that. The prices of the all-you-can-eat-breakfast buffets at the hotels (or the breakfast basket for the last one) are:

  • Disneyland Hotel: €36 per adult and €27 per child (3-11 years old) per night
  • Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel: €28 per adult and €23 per child (3-11 years old) per night
  • Disney’s Newport Bay Club: €28 per adult and €23 per child (3-11 years old) per night
  • Disney’s Sequoia Lodge: €24 per adult and €17 per child (3-11 years old) per night
  • Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne: €21 per adult and €14 per child (3-11 years old) per night
  • Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe: €21 per adult and €14 per child (3-11 years old) per night
  • Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch: €12 per adult and €12 per child (3-11 years old) per night

Besides the possibility to book a breakfast with your stay, you can also choose for a half board or full board option. In the package of a half board meal plan are the breakfast buffet in your hotel and 1 meal (lunch or dinner) per person per night included. In a full board meal plan are the breakfast buffet in your hotel and 2 meals (lunch and dinner) included. Disneyland Paris offers 3 different meal plans, which I will clarify here. So, how does it work? You book the preferred meal plan together with your stay at a Disney hotel. Upon arrival in your hotel, you will receive your meal vouchers. You can use these vouchers to pay for your meals in the restaurants. In the past, you would get a paper voucher for each meal, but these are now integrated in a very convenient way in you room key or MagicPass. Your meal plan is mentioned on the back of the MagicPass. With this key, you can pay in the restaurants. Every member of the party will get a pass and every pass contains the value of the meals per person. It is however not necessary that everyone pays separately, it is possible to pay with one pass for everyone in your party. Depending on the meal plan you chose, you can eat in more than 20 selected restaurants. Enjoy!

IMPORTANT! You are not obliged to eat in the suggested restaurants. You are allowed to eat in cheaper restaurants (fast food or counter service restaurants), but you will not get any refund if the total price is lower than the value of the meal included in your meal plan. If you booked a full board meal plan, it is for example perfectly possible to have lunch at a fast food restaurant and diner in a buffet restaurant, you are not obliged to eat at a buffet restaurant twice or have a menu with 3 courses for lunch and dinner. It is also possible to eat at a more expensive restaurant. With a voucher from the Standard meal plan, it is for example possible to eat in a restaurant from the Plus or Premium-selection of restaurants, but you will have to pay the difference when the total fee exceeds the value of the meal included in your meal plan. The monetary value of the vouchers or meals is not mentioned on the vouchers or MagicPass, but you can call the Disneyland Paris Call Centre before your stay to inquire the value of your vouchers. Whatever meal plan you choose, it won’t be any problem if you change your mind during your stay. Both the lunch and dinner vouchers can be exchanged for their monetary value in every restaurant in the two Disney parks, the Disney hotels and in some of the restaurants at Disney Village. The breakfast vouchers can also be exchanged for their monetary value at some restaurants that offer breakfast in the Disney parks and in Disney Village (only for breakfast of course).

You can eat at the following buffet restaurants with the Standard meal plan:

  • Chuck Wagon Café at Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne
